I used this pattern to make a crochet hula skirt.

Hook size: Any size will do.
Yarn type: Any brand, weight, and color will do.
Ch the number of chs that go around your waist. Slst in first ch from slip knot. Ch 1. *sc in next ch on circle. Ch
20 and sc along ch. Ch 1. Repeat from * for the rest of circle.
